The JLAC Facility
This stunning venue located on the shores of the Estuary, boasts one of the best waterfront views in Oakland, and some of Oakland’s finest venues for gatherings and celebrations.
A grand entrance area greets visitors with a soaring central tower of skylights flooding both floors with natural light. The top of the stairwell, greets you with another sun-filled room, which defines a second spacious gathering area.
The main banquet room, located on the second floor includes a high-pitched ceiling framed with massive wooden beams that can accommodate 185 guests. Floor to ceiling windows provide sweeping panoramic views along with French doors leading out onto the deck area, completing your view of the waterfront from inside the main room. Two identical breakout rooms are enclosed within the main room to be used at your choosing.
A custom catering kitchen, conveniently located near the elevator and stairwell, puts the final touches on this spectacular venue.
Just east of the JLAC facility is Estuary Park, a seven-acre open space largely hidden from view from the adjoining road. The park includes a public boat launching ramp, a fishing pier, a large group picnic area and a stepped area leading to the water which provides excellent views of special events or a close-up look at the local bird population. A 1,500 foot pathway along the water connects the park with Jack London Village, at the south end of Jack London Square.
